In the current international geopolitical context, it is essential to reaffirm that the mission of Mon Devoir de Mémoire is rooted exclusively in historical remembrance and in honoring the American soldiers who fell in 1944 during the liberation of Belgium and Europe.

Our commitment is strictly commemorative, apolitical, and non‑partisan. It is in no way intended to comment on, support, or criticize the contemporary policies of the United States or any other nation.

The recognition we express through our activities — including our participation in the National Independence Day Parade on July 4, 2026, and the Faircloth Project — is directed toward the men and women who sacrificed their lives for our freedom more than 80 years ago, and bears no connection to present‑day geopolitical issues, decisions, or tensions.

Our mission remains unchanged: to honor the memory of the liberators, preserve history, and transmit this legacy to future generations in a spirit of respect, gratitude, and peace.
